Mercaoleo SL (www.mercaoleo.es) is a company that markets bottled olive oils mainly for private label brands in the world. It was established in 2007 as a joint venture by Cargill a large US manufacturing company working in more than 60 countries and operating edible oils- and Dcoop. Since octuber 2014 Dcoop was the whole owner, but in 2015 Dcoop agreed with the US olive oil group Pompeian a share exchange . Founded in 2009, MCO facility bottles over 30 million litres in its bottling plant in Antequera, probably the most modern and efficient in the world.
Pompeian Group (www.pompeian.com) is a company that trades olive oils in the United States where Pompeian is a leading brand. It has two bottling facilities in Portobello-Los Angeles (California, West Coast) and Baltimore (Maryland, East Coast).
Agroalimentaria Musa SL is a company established in March 2012. It produces and markets agri-food products, mainly sauces with the leading brand Musa.
Qorteba Internacional SL is a firm created in 2013 by Refinería Andaluza SA (Aceites Toledo) with a 50% shareholding and Dcoop S.Coop.And. with another 50% -in 2017 this share passed to its subsidiary Mercaoleo- in order to store and refine oils and house Musa sauces manufacturing plant. The facilities are in Alcolea (Córdoba).
Acorsa Inc. USA. Founded in 2003, this 100 % subsidiary of Dcoop, is the commercial branch of the cooperative to market its products in the United States, mainly oils and table olives. Based in Dumont, New Jersey, it has an annual turnover of about $15 million.
Dcoop owns other subsidiary companies working wine (Wines and Fruits SL), insurance agency (Coragro) or services (Sociedades Agrarias de Málaga).
